Pivot Arts Festival - May 28 - June 7, 2015
With Lizi Breit (from Manual Cinema) and Dan Kerr-Hobert (from the Neo-Futurists)

Edgewater Workbench will be the host to a series of Puppet Building Workshops for the Pivot Arts Festival. Professional puppeteers Lizi Breit and Dan Kerr-Hobert teach and guide participants in building large-scale puppets that will then become a part of the Pivot Arts "Celebrate Community!" Parade taking place May 30th at 1pm on Granville at Kenmore. These large puppets will be inspired by designs made by Swift School Students. Ages 15 to Adult may register. No previous experience required. The class fee of $20/class or $60 for all 5 helps to pay for materials used. Select the first "April 25" option for the entire course or choose a specific date from the menu below. Pivot Arts is a 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit, charitable organization.

The Pivot Arts Festival is an annual celebration of innovative performance throughout Chicago’s Uptown & Edgewater neighborhoods. Over two weeks, audiences have the opportunity to see and hear unique music, theater, dance, puppetry, all ages shows, comedy and more.
